Backstage at Hary Janos
Lots and lots of csunya white outfits (after Labor Day and before Easter!).....an assortment of ages, national origins, and levels of comfortability with being naked in front of other people....lots of good singing, some impressive dancing by the ferfikor (I think we should've called them the Hungarian Stomp), a few near misses with lit candles backstage, and in general, some of the best fun I had in Kecskemet. This was the Katona Jozsef Szinhaz production of Kodaly's Hary Janos (I have GOT to figure out how to use diacrits on this thing!), and these are a few peeks at our backstage world....

Jorgie and C.D., giggling at some birthday antics....
Aron talking to Kati-neni....asking for turo rudi money, I'm guessing....but it looks rather touching, don't you think?
